Good quality but nothing was really special...mosquitos everywhere, pizza in the (poor) avg quality of Corsica and France...quite std menu..it is anyway quite easy to reach and roads does not get to narrow (at least up to restaurant)
After hours travelling the winding roads of inland Corsiga, thiding this place was amazing. Rustic pizzeria serving basic Corsican fare. Great views from the outdoor terrace from the mountains to the sea. Price 22 euros/person without wine.
My husband 's family is from a village in the center of Corsica, and we have gone to this restaurant numerous times in the last few years. It has always been good, and sometimes you have to wonder if it won 't be so good next time as it has been around for a while. It is a short drive up the hillside from the east coast beach of Alistro. We went back this summer (Aug 2008) with a group of 12 people and it was as good, if not better than before. Great pizzas, very reasonably priced. A good variety of à la carte choice or good value menus, including many Corsican specialties. Lovely view. Efficient and friendly service (and that is definitely not often the case in Corsica), with a particularly nice 'digestive ' offered after the meal. Everyone in our party, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
The food is amazing and they have a great selection of delicious wines. Very honest prices and the staff are real angels! Must go if you are in the neighbourhood.
