Ray's Diner - Elgin

I love this gem. Recently moved to South Elgin. We have tried picking up breakfast from other places, until we found Ray's. Now, we don't get breakfast from anywhere else.

Looked forward to going there ,enjoyed the vibe ,great customer service ...food was a little let down ,had the potato casserole. I was expecting a creamy potato mix of joy ...potato's could have been cooked longer ,my buddy thought the same about his skillet ,we will definitely come back mid week see if it is better ...I pass to many other breakfasts joints coming from Schaumburg for less then stellar food ....see ya soon

It's great to go there for breakfast, the family atmosphere, the friendly people and the food, everything is excellent.

This was an experience. Just passing through and stumbled upon this gem. It was so so busy. The staff was efficient and friendly. The food was outstanding and made it very obvious why there were so many people there.
