Valentines - Governors Bay

We celebrated our kid’s birthday there. The restaurant should be under the new management. The food was nice, especially the roast pork. The staffs were very friendly. My daughter enjoyed her birthday arrangement and the free cupcake with a candle and the birthday card. The buffet price is quite reasonable in today’s world.

This establishment provides a pleasant environment, perfect for families with children and special events. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the dishes served are not only delectable but also reasonably priced. Celebrating a birthday here may result in a discount or complimentary meal. The service level is highly satisfying, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

We visited Valentine's Hornby on Friday 14 April 2023. We've enjoyed our recent dinner visits here, as the food has been really nicely cooked is full of flavour. The head chef has significantly improved the dishes from what they were in the past. There is a good range of buffet dishes to suit or cater to everyone's tastes and/or dietary requirements. We really appreciate the time effort that the chefs kitchen staff put into making the wide variety of dishes on offer. The staff are friendly and kept on top of clearing plates from our table. It pays to arrive early as parking is limited directly outside the business. If you happen to miss out on a park right outside, then don't despair as you can park just around the corner. It's only a few minutes stroll away. It would be good if people could show their support for Valentine's, as it's so good to have a buffet option available in the Hornby area.

Absolutely beautiful place to dine in. Recommend to all. Our host for the night went out of his way to help our comfort and experience. Thankyou.

Really well deserved of these stars, the price is reflective of the food but very much to my liking.
