Umekes Fish Market Grill - Kailua Kona

It was happy hour but the bar area was full so we got a table and were seated right away. The tables are not crammed together it's nice and spacious, with outdoor seating available. Fish tacos I'm not a fan of ahi tuna so I got grilled ono instead. I thought it would be better than it was a tad on the dry side and not as much flavor as I would have liked. Ahi katsu I've never heard of ahi katsu before! t really enjoyed it. The flavor was really good.

The garlic wings were crispy and yummy I wish they had more garlic flavor. The Mac salad was good but frozen and I wasn't a fan of the big potatoe chunks especially frozen but the flavor and seasoning was yummy. Price was normal !!!

Best fish and food on the island. It was hard to choose, so we shared several items. Everything was so good. Service was a bit on the slower side, but not overly so either. This is a must try if you are on the island! They have the best fish and poke.

Best poke I've ever had! Wish I could take back to the mainland with me! So fresh and full of flavor! I wish they open a location in Los Angeles

Fish tacos and poke are 5-stars!!! For take out/market make sure you call ahead, website shows open until 7 but they do close at 6 pm.
