No interesting taste combinations, rather bland and boring, not even the mango lassi is any good. Most of the excellent reviews seem to come from Indian reviewers who only visited this one restaurant ever, for me a clear hint about the truthfulness… There are so many nice Indian restaurants in Vienna nowadays, so don’t waste your time or money here!

It didn't start well when the table we sat at was dirty. Instead of cleaning it, the waiter told us we could change tables if we weren't satisfied with that one. So we duly changed tables, though a bit perplexed. Drinks came fast enough but after 45 minutes without food we started to get a bit impatient, especially when we saw tables around us who had arrived later getting their second course before we'd seen any food. It transpired that they had made a mistake and forgotten to enter our order. Not great but mistakes can happen, it's the way you handle the situations thereafter that will make or break. We eventually got our food around 1hr15mins after arriving. Food was ok, nothing special but what was really jarring was the lack of apology. The waiter who made the mistake hid behind the kitchen and a new waiter who was not at fault got sent out to serve, take the bill etc. we thought they might redeem themselves at least by deducting our drinks from the bill or some sign of apology but it wasn't to be. Safe to say I will not be returning even if I do stay at the hotel next door quite regularly.
