No record of booking upon arrival at the venue, no inclination to assist in finding a table and general customer service of managers appreciable when increasing the issue.

The food was good. Classic pub scrub. Sausage and mash were on the money. Enjoy it. For the area, very good value.

No QR code option for order, so the bar was very busy. This meant that it took an exceptionally long time to order food or drinks. When we arrived, no one seemed to know that we had booked a table, so we got one who had drinks glasses from the previous people. It wasn't clear, we had to move everything. The food was average.

I ordered sausage and mash. The food was hot, sausage tasty, mash smooth and creamy And there were actually vegetables! These days, the veg are a afterthought usually a piece of carrot and two mange tout both raw. At The Gable there was a modest but reasonable part of carrots and cabbage, all served with a lot of Gravy. Absolutely delicious. Thank you.

We had book, but when we arrived at 7.30 they told us the kitchen was closed, so we found somewhere else
