"We stayed in a fancy place near Montemor and wanted to go out for a simple local dinner one evening. It was a challenge in itself to find a restaurant in this tiny little village, and among the few options we had, we decided to come here. From the outside it looks like a western saloon, inside it is cosy and with another couple we were the only ones. The service was good, the waiter very friendly. Without us asking, he brought the typical portuguese starters (cheese, sausage, olives..) which were very nice but we later found out we had been charged for them (and not little) while it seemed like a courtesy of the house at first. The main course left a lot to be desired, it was rather oily, the fries were soggy... so not really enjoyable. The deserts were limited and didn't impress us either. But we still enjoyed the evening there but there might be better options in Montemor-o-novo."

"Wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant! our server spoke little to no English no problem! use their google Translate app or simply take a chance that I had the most amazing lamming to lunch here. friendly, friendly, delicious!"
