Although it was a cold, snowy, wintery day, from the moment we entered into the warmth and genuine hospitality of this restaurant, which is situated in the middle of nowhere, we...were transformed into a Nirvana World. The service was so friendly and attentive. We started with a delicious cress soup with scallops and this was followed by Langoustine served with wild rice. For desserts, each one had his/her own choice but all were superb. Wine, beer, coffee and teas were had by all (except for the little one who was happy with a coke). The Chef Jean Yves Andre has earned a Michelin one star, which for a place in the middle of nowhere says it all: Well done, Jean Yves you thoroughly deserve it. The bill was not cheap Swiss Francs 436.80 (about US dollars 440), however, it should be mentioned that we had two sets of complimentary dishes one prior to the starters and one between the starters and main meal: thrown in for free. Price wise, not for the faint hearted but if you want to have a culinary and atmospheric experience to remember, then I, for one, had absolutely no complaints in dishing out the money !

Personne n'a commandé depuis que nous sommes assis, aussi cela ne fait pas très pro!Les entrées sont sublimes, raffinées et le résultat d'un génie créatif marié à un talent. Bonne note.Le plat principal, un homard et une charlotte d'agneau nous laissent cois, dommage après notre première bonne impression des entrées et mises en bouche.Les desserts sont excellents et très bien exécutés, on sent une vraie passion pour le chocolat en différentes déclinaisons.La carte des vins est peu fournie et ne comporte quasiment que des vins locaux. Pas de vins blancs en 50 cl pour un plat de crustacé, dommage?Une impression générale assez satisfaisante pour la créativité et l'exécution hormis les plats principaux goûtés ce soir. Le service est aimable mais manque encore d'empathie et de chaleur humaine. C'est peut-être la rançon d'être venus 15 minutes en retard sur l'horaire annoncé.Enfin et il faut le noter, la maison ne nous a pas facturé un des plats principaux qui avait donné lieu à une remarque négative. On salue le geste commercial.
