The server is neither friendly nor welcoming. Could have been a perfect ramen dining experience if the service is improved.
The service is good, only 5 tables but usually vacant. No restroom. Gyoza is kinda small, but chashu is expected good. Not a surprising good Ramen, but if you're around and just had Ishida recently, and want to try some different stuffs, yes, not a bad choice.
The service, food and atmosphere were all great! The place is a little small and has no outdoor seating but that made it all the cosier! Had the Jidori chicken ramen and my friend had the shrimp wonton ramen, with both of us sharing the chicken gyoza and umame truffle French fries as appetizers, and EVERYTHING was delicious! All in all 10/10 would recommend!
I have had ramen at Totto, Ippudo, Roc N Ramen, Hide-Chan, and Ivan Ramen to name a few. Nakamura is by far my favorite ramen spot. The place is a hole in the wall that is small and cozy with delicious ramen. I recommend their Torigara and Ton Toro ramen. As well as their chicken gyoza and calamari when they have it.
I had the Tokyo tsukemen for lunch, and the torigara ramen for dinner the next day. The tsukemen noodle portion is huge, served cold as I read is traditional, and it's dipping sauce is intense with the yuzu. I took hand strength to pick up and dip these noodles. Overall satisfying. The torigara I thought was amazing. I don't know what flavor was hitting so well, but I thought it was unusually tasty. Parts of the table tops were slightly sticky, but I guess that didn't affect
