Appreciated Revere Tavern hosting Bird-in-Hand Restaurant and Theater. Brought my sister and her family to The Confession musical. We enjoyed our meal and the show.
Food was ok but waitress and manager the worst. We are traveling on vacation. Waitress treated us like she could not be bother. We didn’t even know there were specials until we overheard our waitress telling another table. I didn’t finish my food because was full and wasn’t that good. Waitress pushed for a reason and when I explained all she stated was “she just knew I was going to be a problem”. Manager told my husband she was her best waitress. Needless to said paid the bill without leaving a tip.
Excellent food Super excellent service. Fascinating history. It's just a shame that the place is going to close this coming Saturday, after being open since 1740. Glad we got to stay at the place right in the 90th minute.
Sorry folks, this did not go well tonight. July 4th week end, not very busy, we had a reservation. we arrived to be told our reservation was a no show because we were 7 minutes late. I showed the host my phone stating I received a text confirming my arrival, the host then says no problem right this way. waitress from the start was in a hurry, rushing around in the weeds. we received onion soup , boom boom shrimp and brushetta. shrimp were cold with cold boom boom sauce. onion soup had that cheap stringy cheese , no onions just broth bread and cheese. then waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for meal. crab cakes were great, wifes chicken and pasta were cold , had to beg for refills. waitress did not care one bit when food was just left on plates un eaten. other waitress's were very nice, we had the lemon that night. we have been here before , and it was not like this
