A testament of how good it was was my 16 year old, who claims to be a future vegetarian, inhaled the pork arepa. My empanadas were amazing. The dough was kind of like Native fry bread. I LOVE fry bread. Thank you Zulys!
I 'm not sure if they were having an off night since I 've only had this one experience, but this food truck has NO BUSINESS being a food truck. It took 55 minutes to get an order of 2 empanadas and 2 arepas. This was the same length of time for everybody who ordered ahead or behind me. Everyone was waiting around for SO LONG! You should not be a food truck if you take 55 minutes to cook the food. Cut your menu down to the top 7-10 items and make at least some ahead of time. This experience was the worst I 've ever had of any food truck...EVER...ANYWHERE.......even getting a full pizza. Also, instead of taking my order, I had to write it down there on a piece of paper, which was super weird. This business really needs to reflect; either get faster, tell people your wait times (which no one would tolerate), or get out of the game. When I finally got my food and complained about it being 55 minutes the woman working said it 's like a restaurant you have to wait . No, no I don 't EVER AGAIN.
Zuly What's your new location? Please, update your contact information to order for pick up, your contact number. We would like to return to taste more of your menu options as soon as possible.
We stopped by yesterday evening to grab a quick bite and were so glad we did! We ordered a chicken and veggie burrito and were not disappointed. I can only speak for the chicken one but the flavor was excellent and the sauces were both tasty. We will be back again throughout our stay in Tulsa!
Haven't tried anything else yet, but the vegetarian breakfast burritos are worth driving across town for. The salsa and garlic sauce that comes with them is so delicious. There are no fast food restaurants that can even come close. I imagine there aren't many dine-in restaurants in town that can beat it either. It's that perfect flavor you seem to only get from the best food trucks. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
