When I called the restaurant, the answer said that they don't take reservations through open tables. So he had no reservation. It turned out that there was no problem getting a table.
This restaurant looks like an Irish pub. Having Irish beers on tap doesn't make it an Irish pub. I ordered the lunch menu fish and chips. What arrived was two small pieces of broken fish, each about 4 inches long and about 3/4 inches square including dough. The chips were 1/4 inch French fries similar to what you would expect at a fast food place. The Coleslaw filled the fork once and was gone. Fish and chips are a meal I often order and enjoy. That was a bad replacement.
Nice pub. We went there for a football match, it's not too crowded, but it had the atmosphere that you could enjoy yourself.
One of the best neighborhood bars in NW DC. This is a beer shot kind of place. In a different town, cops fireman would frequent it. Nights can fill up with college kids, because the prices are great. Staff is pleasant outgoing, in a dive bar sort of way. Recommended.
I grew up in DC but now live in Philly. This is a true dive bar in DC, a dying bread. Always has good service and stiff drinks (at a decent price). All and all, i would definitely reccommend.
