A hotel restaurant well-known to me for various events I organise there. Took my wife for her birthday dinner and not disappointed. Staff always friendly an efficient and Jenny in the restaurant is a gem.
Booked here for a quick pre cinema meal. Nice little restaurant, but only 1 other diner there. Portions were huge and average. Lovely young lad served us, but had no idea about Tastecard.
We had an excellent Easter Sunday lunch at this high quality restaurant located in an old, well-established hotel. The food was cooked to perfection and served with courtesy. The chef, who is relatively new, took the time to speak with each customer, although there were not many of us during our visit. The menu offered a variety of options including red meat, poultry, fish, and vegetarian dishes, all cooked to order. While there was a bit of a wait for the food, the quality made it worth it. The prices for the food were reasonable, but the same cannot be said for the wine. Overall, this restaurant in Dorchester should be ranked higher for its quality dining experience, and we definitely plan on returning. Highly recommended.
Went as part of a group of seven to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Surprised it wasn't busier being a Friday evening, but the food was excellent. I had the Pan Fried Gnocchi (with sautéed chestnut mushrooms, spinach, caramelised shallot garlic) and the Tonka Bean Panna Cotta (with granola, mulled pear, warm cider and freeze dried blackberry) which was fantastic! It's definitely my favourite restaurant in Dorchester.
