Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe went there twice. First, we tried the lunch-buffet, which was really cheap, but tasted great. There were about 15-20 different dishes, soup, salads and dessert. Price was about 7€ and together with two Cokes we paid less than 20€ - definitely the cheapest meal we had during our stay!A few days later we went there for dinner and had a crispy duck and my husband some crispy beef on a hot plate. This is absolutely one of the best, if not the best, chinese restaurants we have been to. Really delicious food for a small price!
My husband and I had dinner here, the staff is friendly and the service was great. I am a fan of Asian food and the food here was great and fairly priced. Highly recommended.
There were hardly any guests coming in. Not much talking by the chinese lady, that brought the menu. 3 starters could not be chosen, as they had no chicken stripes or beef to prepare the salad....maybe they were not prepared that someone wants this :-) We have asked for bowls and chop sticks instead of plates, as it is hard to eat with chop sticks from a flat plate :-) The roasted duck with champignons and cellery sticks was very good and all fresh. The roasted beef was also very good, but my husband asked the lady to make it very spicy, but it was not spicy at all. After that we decided to order a dessert....according to the special card on the table, there was a warm cake with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately this was also not available anymore.I must say, that the interior is very nice with a big painted glass ceiling and nice chinese pictures at the wall. The lady cleaned the table too early...I was still eating and she took the bowl from my husband already! Another minus point is, that they only take cash and no payment by card.
We went to Pavillon because of predominantly good opinions and were...terribly dissapointed!Maybe the lady serving had a bad day because the attitude was quite ignorant and we would have accepted that since it wasn't to be a gala dinner but the cook definitely can't afford to be moody.Biting into the spring rolls just produced a mouthful of oil which clearly indicated that the rolls had been put into oil not heated enough.Same applied to the beef in garlic sauce and the duck had clearly been warmed up, maybe not for the first time, all in all, just a shame for such a nice place as Bad Reichenhall!
We ate here on a Friday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy so we did not have to wait. We chose a set meal for 2. It was served piping hot and fresh. There is an English menu but the waiting staff spoke good English anyway. The duck was delicious, I'd definitely recommend ordering that.
