De La Paix - Bapaume

Spent 7 overnight here Tour WW1 Battlefields, took this location as central for "The Somme Area" and easy to find near the highway of Calais. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, all in one place. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower,... lounge area, bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast with many choices, food in the restaurant is exceptional, nice touch was chief served us main course. Small number of employees who work very hard and always there to help. We found the relaxed dress code acceptable and very French, not affecting the quality of the service. Some reviews say there are cheaper prices close to Albert, we have okay by looking at booking sites. Many parking spaces on Hotel forecourt by cctv. Number of supermarkets nearby and very helpful tourist information in Bapaume. Stay here and recommend friends. Thank you. Hotel de la Paix Team.

Very good menu with plenty to choose from. The food was very very good and the service was excellent.

Very good reception by a friendly boss. A charming establishment with a family atmosphere. A beautiful whisky cellar and old rum for amateurs. The meal is of very good quality and a varied choice. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and cosi. I recommend to spend a pleasant time and to rest well.
