Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónNice restaurant with open air area (covered) and great service. Food was ok the real highlight were the mousses they have for dessert. We specially loved the passion fruit one and chocolate one. The quinoa burger is also quite nice, just dont take the option “in canoe”, it consists of the quinoa burger with cheese melted on top. The classic option is definitely better. Their limonade was great too, not too sweet and very refreshing.
Unfortunately menu not available in English. Neither were we understood when orders were taken. So my pork wasn't nice at all, not tasty nor tender. My husbands Omelette was strange, as it was a pure scrambled eggs with the ingredients filled inside a formed pocket, was tasting nice. But so few, kept him hungry. So: people were nice, food not so, price to high you find nicer places on Bissau
Nice international (read: Portuguese) restaurant popular with expats and well-off locals. There's an air-conditioned room to the right from the entrance if the main room is too hot. Prices wouldn't be out of place in Lisbon, but you get the major upside of the restaurant not employing disabled snails in their kitchen, and thus sparing you the 1-1.5h wait that's the norm absolutely everywhere else I've been to in the country. The food is tasty, portion sizes are big, and the fruit mousses are to die for, don't leave without trying one!
Lunch for four today during a day break. owners approached us and recommended some dishes. we took feijoada with calamari (choco.) great choice! the deserts were also great (dry maracuyá cream! . . the place has a beautiful informal atmosphere and service was well recommended!
I see Brazil and South Korea in cash. I like this place. I like waiter service. the price is normal for bissau, but my friend told me that the eating side is expensive for bissau.
