Slightly arcaic ordering system,pleasant staff.However the gravy to fry ratio could use an improvement.

Spinach Pie by the beach? Yes, please. I love to come down here when the weather is nice.

The location is closed, but the Athens Pastries sign is still on the building.

Great BBQ at affordable prices! While the prices have increased like at other restaurants, the hike isn't as steep. You can get a plate of food for about $12 here, whereas in Richmond, the same size plate with smaller portions costs $15. This place has been a Chester tradition for decades, and if the locals rave about the food, that's a good indication that you'll enjoy it too. During my recent visits, I brought four friends, and each of us was impressed by the delicious food!

Ordered pickup. Tasted a little of the liver on the way home and it was a little bland for our liking. When we got home and unpacked everything and sat down to eat, my wife found a fly in with her okra. dead!! needless to say after that everything just went in the trash everyone stopped eating. Very disappointing!
