Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLunch organizer as part of the tour arrangement.. very nice place.. The cab sauv was nice.. food wise a wee bit bland hence the 3 star also the mess up with my daughters lunch which sort of went missing. Generally pleasing experience... could be better.
Wine was obviously fantastic. Food was good but pricey. Beautiful setting, great service, lovely fireplace.
Lunch at Rochford Wines was delightful! A table near the open fire, a lovely Rose and a delicious lunch. Our waiter was excellent - very knowledgable ( I'm sorry I didn't get his name). He advised us on the best wines to go with our meal and was there when we needed him.The Winery is set among rolling hills and as the weather was perfect - sunny with a slight chill- the walk around the property was a lovely way to finish the visit.
I took my mum to Rochford Winery to celebrate a belated mothers day, and I'm so glad I did. We had an absolute ball! I used a Scoopon voucher, so the visit was absolutely value for money. The voucher started with a wine tasting, so we got to try a few different wines and rate them. The gentleman serving us was so friendly, informative, and was very receptive and listened to what wines we enjoyed, while also pushing us to try something different. It was a lot of fun. Then we had lunch, a shared plate to begin with, then mains each with a glass of wine. Perfect amount of food! I was so full afterwards I could hardly move. The food was soooo delicious and looked beautiful on the plate.Additionally, the service we had was amazing. The waitress was so friendly, and helpful without being overbearing. I couldn't rate her high enough, and we both commented that she really helped make the lunch a wonderful experience. Afterwards, we walked though the Rockford gift store - which is so much fun! They have so many weird, wacky, local, foreign, different products in there, that it is a LOT of fun to sift through. Mind you, most of it isn't cheap, so we didn't walk away with anything. Both of us had sooo much fun, I would go back there in a heart beat. Loved it! And it made my mum extremely happy, so I couldn't thank Rochfords enough!
We visited the restaurant for lunch looking forward to a beautiful meal. The entrees arrived and the seafood bisque had a nice flavour, a bit too salty and Luke warm. The pork cheek had no seasoning. Main was dreadful. The barramundi was a thin piece of stringy fish on cold beans with chorizo. The skin was left on and was slimy instead of crispy. My husband had the duck which was nicer but again the skin was uncooked and rubbery. We didn't bother with desert as the restaurant is extremely noisy and given the first 2 coursed it would have been s waste of money. On top of this we had 1 wine, 1 beer and a bottle of sparkling water. All this for $158. We will never return.
