Dairy Queen - Ennis

I am very picky about tacos and I must say that DQ has some very tasty tacos!!

I was truly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant today. I found it unacceptable to be charged extra for taco sauce to accompany my nachos and tacos. When I requested a refund for my meal, I overheard the manager and cashier making negative comments and swearing about my mother and me from behind the counter and in the kitchen, where it was audible to everyone in the establishment. I've never felt so disrespected at a Dairy Queen before. It's unfortunate that these staff members believe they are superior to their customers. Throughout our visit, we were polite, and my mom only spoke up because of their inappropriate behavior. I sincerely hope the general manager takes action and implements some much-needed changes at this location soon.

I had spent $20 on my own meal, and while I was eating, the woman kept repeating loudly for everyone in the restaurant to hear that my daughter was mistaken. Seeing how distressed my daughter was, I finally got up and asked the woman to stop saying that, as it was quite rude. She snapped at me, so I went back to my seat and spoke to my daughter. Ultimately, we decided to throw away our food and leave. I hope that people remember to be considerate of one another. We’re all in this together and should treat each other with kindness. Thank you.

The food is consistently served hot and freshly prepared, and the service is friendly.

Drive through backup slow service and only got half of otder once I got home. But paid for all of it.
