Menya - Haymarket

Great place for ramen. The broth is full of flavour, nice texture noodle and good portion.the location is good but not great dining atmospheres as the color can be brighter.

Firstly, this place was somewhat hidden lol took me a bit to realise it was in the corner. I enjoyed the ramen, it was quite big but managed to finish it up. The price is affordable and the staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely go again when i have the chance to.

My go-to lunch venue! They have mini ramen for around $7 but it is still very filling if you're not very hungry. Regular size ramen is massive! Authentic ramen at decent price!

This is a cute ramen establishment in Chinatown. I decided to order the Menya Ramen, with tonkotsu miso, mainly because it was affordable tbh. (I guess as expected,) the soup was very thick. I did notice most of the other customers had gotten the lighter chicken soups so maybe that's the way to go next time. There are big communal tables as well as ledges with seats against the window/walls, making it a good place for both groups and solo adventures.

Ordered the Yokohama Tonkotsu and Vegetable Lover's Udon. Both were very disappointing. The broth of the ramen was too thin and not flavourful and the noodle was average. The portion of the pork was so so and they only gave half an egg. As for the udon, the soup was too sweet for my liking, and it was literally 40% bean sprout: 50% udon: 10% bakchoy (although the menu states mixed vegetables). This place is definitely overrated.
