Eating House 1849 - Honolulu

Enjoyed our 30th Anniversary at Eating House. Service was great the manager came by to wish us Happy Anniversary. They had a little “Happy Anniversary” placard on our table which was a cute touch. Food was excellent, grilled Salmon w/ risotto Amberjack w/ crab dynamite. Complimentary chocolate cupcake to celebrate our event. Located at the top of the International Markeplace

Excellent customer from start to finish. The food and live music made our dining experience just perfect!

Convenient location in a beautiful space. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered selections based on individual preferences. The food was absolutely beautiful and all tasted incredible.

This restaurant just doesn't disappoint. Another great evening of fine dining, and a bonus, a wonderful musician. Singer, songwriter style music; solo guitar, great voice of Randy Alan (not sure spelling is correct). Decibel level loud enough to sing along if you felt like it, but low enough to be able to converse with dinner mates without struggle. The service, as always, was fabulous as were the dishes. Our favorites are the burrata salad and famous ribs. Brussel sprouts order is generous and delicious; cooked to perfection. Great wine selections. As an aside, while the main reason for these reviews is to help you decide where to dine, I would also recommend viewing documentaries: Farm Country, Big Little Farm, and any others you run across to enhance your dining experience. These documentaries make me appreciate all the more what it takes to run a restaurant, and procure fresh ingredients, and serve customers--especially this restaurant, where all staff are knowledgeable, friendly and present a well-rounded dining experience.
