Sportsman's Alamo Cantina - Álamo

I truly enjoy their meat dishes and can never resist this comforting meal that always leaves me feeling satisfied. A couple of beers—maybe three—and I'm good to go. My whole family loves it there as well!

The terrace area is lovely, and they offer window service—there's no waiter. They have a great selection of beers. I tried the fish with rice and beans, and it was decent. The locals have vibrant personalities! The vibe here is ultra-casual dining!

Only for a few beers came, but the bartender was in the end and they had a decent design choice. 10/10 solid wooden stick would sit there again.

After exploring on the Rail Explorers, my husband and I decided on coming to the Alamo for lunch. I don?t understand the positive reviews bc I ordered chicken fajitas with rice and beans and the chicken was flavorless and dry. The beans had an odd taste like they were old. The rice was bland and texture was not right. Hubby ordered a chicken quesadilla and he got a vegan quesadilla which was cold. I can keep on adding to this review but I?ll just leave it alone. Hence, I will not be visiting again.

Good food and beer. Great servers. Didn't enjoy the pigeons on the patio though.
