The penne portobello pasta is good as well, got it made without sausage. However there wasn't much mushrooms so I would ask for extra if you like portobellos. Overall, food is good but service could be better (one friends plate didn't come out until 25 mins after everyone else's).
K, so this review is coming from a non pizza lover, yup you read that right. But sometimes I crave carb, I happened to be at The Lot and guess what, it was happy hour! Sold! I ordered: Calamari- fresh, came with two dipping sauces, one red one cream based. Umm, when I have a calamari craving, I'm coming here! By the way my fave sauce was the Cajun creamy one. Burrata Brushetta- this was ordered by my friend, it was brushetta but with cheese, peanuts and honey on top. Quite good and filling. The menu price for this differs then what you're actually charged, we were confused but the waiter explained there's 2 sizes even though it's not listed on the menu. Was all sorted out, wasn't an issue. Margarita Pizza- thin crust, not overly cheesy. Fresh basil. Really enjoyed this. If you're around for happy hour or just around and craving pizza, go here! I know I'll for sure be back.
Came here with family for dinner on a weekday. The staff here is amazing, especially our host. Super helpful, attentive and hilarious. The food and wine we all enjoyed was delicious.. definitely would come back for the rib eye dinner and cauliflower appetizer!
Fabulous place to dine in San Ramon! I came here for lunch with my parents the other week. I made reservations online and we were running a bit late so I called in to let them know and they were nice enough to still accommodate us. For starters we got the Calamari Fritti $16 and the Burrata Bruschetta $10. Both items were great tasting and I suggest ordering them if you visit. We ordered a pizza to share for the table which had prosciutto di parma, arugula, panna, shaved parmigiano $20, we had them add an egg to it which I highly recommend. Our food was appetizing and we were really happy with our dining experience! We'll be back for another meal soon!
I have consistently experienced poor cooking at this location of Delarosa. During my last visit, the garlic bread was burnt, and this time, the bruschetta was also overcooked. I sent it back, and surprisingly, the replacement came out in less than five minutes. It should have been easy to prepare a simple dish like that, but it seemed like no one paid attention to cooking or service quality. The pesto pasta was subpar, way too greasy, and they served it with red-skinned potatoes? I’ve been here three times because it’s convenient for us, but I've only had one decent experience with the Burrata pizza and fried cauliflower. I’m not sure what’s going on, but it's becoming frustrating. Delarosa has been my absolute favorite restaurant for years, so I’m very disappointed by the lack of pride and care put into preparing good food.
