Sushi Ya - Schaumburg

Can’t recommend this place enough. High quality delicious sushi at a good price. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Everything I have ordered here over the years has tasted so good. I especially recommend the Hawaiian and Butterfly roll. They also give you Miso!

I've been a regular at this restaurant for about 15 years. After learning that it had new owners, I decided to give it a try. The service was excellent; the staff was polite and quick with refills. However, I found that the food just isn’t the same as it used to be. While the ingredients were fresh and of good quality, I believe you shouldn't expect the same flavors as before. I also ordered the fried rice, which I usually enjoy. It seemed okay at the top of the bowl, but when I mixed it, I realized how greasy it was. I actually poured out at least a tablespoon of oil into a soy sauce dish. I hope they can improve (or perhaps I just hit it on an off day). Unfortunately, I won't be returning, but I truly hope for the best for this local business.

I have to say... I'm really happy!!! The man who welcomed us (possibly the owner) was so friendly. He even let my child bring food from another restaurant so that my wife and I could enjoy our meals here. The service was quick and very polite. The food was delicious!!!

Incredible high quality, super fresh sushi. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very attentive kind staff. The restaurant is spotless and the sushi is divine. A true gem. Highly recommend the Butterfly roll. If you like exceptional sushi, Sushiya is the place.

My fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with this place, we are both big fans of sushi and honestly this was some of the best sushi we’ve had and at a really decent price. Highly highly recommend!
