I request cancellation without charge to which booking agrees but they tell me to send me a voucher When I insist that I don't know when I'm going to return and it doesn't make sense they stop answering me, I understand that a cancellation 24 hours before is bad for them but it's also bad for me to pay for something that I don't enjoy and even more so when it's something of force majeure and I can't help it and when it comes to children, it seems to me that it is not worth booking your vacation in such an intransigent and intolerant place, even more so when it comes to children. I don't recommend it to anyone
We loved our stay in the charming restored Victorian Inn. The South Lake room was gorgeous with a four poster canopy bed, velvet curtains and view of the lake. It didn’t matter that there was no TV as the evenings were spent lounging outside in the beautifully manicured gardens. There are many different areas to sit at with fire tables set amongst magical night lighting. The burger and beer or wine night, (every Tuesday in the summer) under the huge tent outside was so fun and full of people, mostly locals. To top it off the evening finished off with an exciting thunder and lightning display. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious with a great selection and there is a quaint little bar to sit at and order drinks. We enjoyed the short walk in the morning to the Taughannock Falls then took drove to upper viewing area then down to Watkins Glen Falls. Both stunning well worth seeing! The staff were very gracious and helpful and we hope to visit once again and stay longer. It is so lovely! Highly recommend!
My brother and sister in law had their wedding here in October of 2022 it was fabulous the following summer my cousin and i had a fantastic dinner at the inn cant say enough good things
Our stay at the Inn at Taughannock Falls was absolutely perfect! The location is perfect for exploring, the Inn grounds are beautiful, rooms are so charming, breakfast selection was great, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. 100% recommend!
There are four separate houses on the Inn's ground. We stayed in the historic Victorian Inn. The Garden Room was spacious, super comfortable with thickly padded carpeting, sitting chairs, solid antique furniture, a large king bed, ac, large tiles bathroom, and big windows overlooking Cayuga Lake in the distance. The grounds are excellent with seating areas scattered about and several propane fire pits and beautiful landscaping. Breakfasts are included. Adjacent to the Inn is Taughannock Falls SP and trails can be accessed from their property.
