Taughannock Farms Inn

We loved our stay in the charming restored Victorian Inn. The South Lake room was gorgeous with a four poster canopy bed, velvet curtains and view of the lake. It didn’t matter that there was no TV as the evenings were spent lounging outside in the beautifully manicured gardens. There are many different areas to sit at with fire tables set amongst magical night lighting. The burger and beer or wine night, (every Tuesday in the summer) under the huge tent outside was so fun and full of people, mostly locals. To top it off the evening finished off with an exciting thunder and lightning display. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious with a great selection and there is a quaint little bar to sit at and order drinks. We enjoyed the short walk in the morning to the Taughannock Falls then took drove to upper viewing area then down to Watkins Glen Falls. Both stunning well worth seeing! The staff were very gracious and helpful and we hope to visit once again and stay longer. It is so lovely! Highly recommend!

My brother and sister in law had their wedding here in October of 2022 it was fabulous the following summer my cousin and i had a fantastic dinner at the inn cant say enough good things

My husband and I visited the first weekend of May for our anniversary. We loved everything about the hotel! The staff was extremely friendly, the grounds were beautiful, the main house very charming and our room very clean, comfortable and roomy. We stayed in Lakeview overlooking the lake, loved the modern bathroom, large shower and bathtub with all the amenities. The breakfast was just enough and perfect for anyone (scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, fried potatoes, cereal choices, baked goods (muffins were delicious , fresh fruit, toast/bagels with all the sides, coffee/tea and variety of juices. We loved the view of the lake from the dining room. The falls are a short walk from the property and a MUST SEE (pictures do it no justice!! Restaurants, shops and wineries all close by. We will definately visit again.

The staff was very nice, it was a clean place, the breakfast they served was excellent. We had the scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. They also had a variety of other items including fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea and juice The grounds outside had seats and firepits for the evening. There is a small bar there and also a restaraunt. The restaurant is not open every day. The location is nice, we walked the trail to the falls. The beds were comfortable for my wife and I.
