Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe met exactly 15 years ago in Werder and were on the occasion of our anniversary in the Old Passover for dinner. What am I supposed to say it was grandiose! It has really been all, from the ambience, to the music, the friendly reception and the insurgent yet attentive service by Patrick (big thanks at this point for the surely unforgettable evening), to the unbelievable good 5 courses! Whether asparagus, spaghetti, or the milk lamb .. everything has completely knocked us over, because never before eaten. We can only provide good information about the restaurant and recommend it without restriction. Yes, of course, in the end you will not go to a star restaurant with 2 persons with 5 courses and a wine tour with 80 euros. But the quality and refinement of the dishes is absolutely worth the money from our perspective! We rarely enjoy such a highlight when we are constantly eating in a moderate restaurant with huge portions. Whether it's worth the money to one or the other, fortunately everyone can decide. In any case, we will return in the old crossing in Werder. In this sense, we thank the hosts very warmly and wish for the future! Petra and Micha
In May 2016, the native Thuringian Patrick Schwatke opened his first gourmet restaurant with his partner Bertine Spieß. Before that he worked in the Beelitz kitchen room, where he took his first Michelin star in November 2015. He was trained at the Käfer restaurant in the Berlin Reichstag. After further stations in the Westin Grand Berlin and San Nicci (Admiralspalst Berlin), he received his final touch with Tim Raue in the Adlon. Also his chef Thomas Hübner has a lot to show, among others the training at the VAU near Kolja Kleeberg, after 12 years of stay in reputed houses in Italy, he returned to the Bavarian House in Potsdam, from where he moved to the old crossing. In the future, we can certainly expect some.
Summary: good Michelin star restaurant. Less complex than other once on Berlin Downtown what is good. Hints to improve: waffle with char lacks acidity.
Wonderful upscale restaurant with creative German dishes, good wine pairing, and very friendly service
Ate here on Saturday evening (4ppl). Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Chose the 5 course menu with wine pairing. Each course was delicious and well thought through. There was no showing off, this was talent in preparation and selection of produce and and the wine matching was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
