"I grew up in Germany and I am still addicted to German food. This place offers some of those dishes and I always enjoyed them. I even came with visitors. The prices are very moderate and the owner is always very friendlyThe place is very clean and the service is fast. I only miss to have a beer with my meal. So I had mineral water."

"There's a rural world in which the local restaurant serves burgers, fries, liver, onions, roast-beef sandwiches, and coleslaw -- you know the type. This restaurant in the charming river-front town of Dunnville is not part of that rural world. It's a little eatery on the main drag, sophisticated in its culinary offering but unpretentious in its delivery. My wife and I had the soup of the day -- chicken with fresh vegetables -- and then shared a BLT on toasted mutligrain. Excellent lunch! Yes, there were French fries, but these ones were exquisite. On a hot summer day, we appreciated the cool, dim lighting, in a tasteful restoration of an historic building, with exposed brick and butcher-block."
