"I thoroughly enjoyed dropping in for a quick bite at this hidden but obviously popular restaurant. A short stint off of St James the service was swift and meticulous despite being packed for the lunch hour rush. This little establishment has a small town, cozy...feel and would be great for a casual date, or meet up with friends. Most of the folks I heard ordering always asked about the “ daily special” so I followed their example and enjoyed a hot bowel of homemade tomato bacon soup followed by a ham and Swiss burger all for I’ll definitely be back!"

"Went here recently, and can't wait to go again. Its a very small cozy cute place, ended up just ordering food to go. Tried half of the Eggplant pita wrap, as well as the chicken wrap. Both were amazing , everything tasted really fresh flavorful Also had a cinnamon bun tasty!"

"The sign outside read "Life is too short not to drink the best coffee." I decided to accept their challenge. Turns out they don't even sell a regular coffee. Just a $3.40 Americano in a tiny take-away cup. Threw it out and continued on my way to Tim Horton's. Don't promote what you don't sell. The rest of the menu might be fine.I don't know but this left a bad taste."

"Excellent choice for authentic Romanian food. So far we attended the New Year's Party and held our wedding reception there. Mike goes way beyond the call of duty to make sure everything goes well for his customers. Although we haven't tried them yet, he seems to have a popular pizza business there too."

The mystery of buying a seat not knowing the menu adds to the uniqueness and is a true hats off to Chef Ben. When menu items are revealed pre service don't be surprised at a gasp of air or a OOOHHH from the attendees. We were fortunate enough to be there when William Prince made the journey to town to entertain us, great soothing voice and a great story teller, he magnifies Manitoba proud and his roots."
