Betty Rose's Little Brisket - Abilene

Poppers today were not their usual size but made up for by quantity. Our patio server was friendly, attentive, fast. My only pet peeve about this place is being brought the bill, without being asked. VERY flavorful brisket and good size portions for thevalue.

Nasty food. Was very disappointed. Did not have item we wanted. They offered substation. The potatoes were left from night before. Absolutely to much butter, nasty tasting. Food made me ill and I had a horrible might. There was 4 in our party and noone liked the food. The waitress was hateful. Never ever going back.

This place has a great atmosphere, but the prices are on par with the Shed, and honestly, the food at the Shed is ten times better—no exaggeration. Additionally, when they have live music, it gets so loud that I couldn't even hear the people sitting right next to me.

I celebrated a friend's birthday with a special off-menu meal at Betty Rose's on Catclaw. A big thank you to Kyle Johnson for creating an amazing menu for us, which included shrimp cocktail as a starter, a salad, ribeye steaks, bacon-wrapped asparagus, and baked sweet potatoes. It was truly an outstanding meal. If you ever need a special meal or catering, these guys are top-notch!

The brisket was tender and juicy, with fantastic flavor. The staff provided outstanding service. It was a wonderful choice for a late lunch or early dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant!
