Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly, but unfortunately, I was disappointed by the food. I ordered the salmon for lunch and it arrived completely wrapped in tin foil. Cooking food in tin foil often doesn't present it well, and this was no exception. Despite the appearance, the dish was bland and lacking in flavor. While it was cooked well, it was in need of more seasoning. I had to add salt myself, as it seemed to be lacking in the dish. The small amount of sauce included with the salmon and root vegetables did not do much to enhance the overall taste. Unfortunately, I found the dish mediocre at best. If given the chance to improve it, I would suggest plating the fish and vegetables on a fresh plate after cooking in tin foil, then adding sauce, vegetables, and garnish just before serving. Additionally, more seasoning such as sauce, salt, herbs, lemon, and parmesan would greatly enhance the overall flavor of the dish.
The food at this restaurant does not justify the high prices. One side of the dish was undercooked while the other side was burnt, and the same inconsistency applied to the spices - either too little or too much. This was the case for both the pizza and pasta we ordered, indicating a lack of effort in the kitchen. The atmosphere is uninviting and somewhat sketchy, and the service is slow with staff members emitting a strong odor of sweat. While I understand that everyone has bad days, this should not be the standard for a popular restaurant.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is relaxing and calming, with a large wood burning stove inside. The staff are polite and helpful, and there is a good selection of pizzas to choose from. We tried the salmon, which was okay, but the schnitzel was good and the freshly cooked garlic bread was absolutely amazing!
Great lunch! Many good salad alternatives. The pizza was a bit spicy (in a very good way) even though I choose one without meat. The only thing that really needs to be improved is the cleanliness in the toilets. I'll be back!
Nice cosy atmosphere and a pretty full restaurant on a Friday evening. Attentive and polite service. We had the 3 course meal which seemed like a good deal. Was very underwhelmed by the starter salad as it was a sad looking affair with some lettuce leaves a couple of slices of tomato, a few small tasteless mozzarella balls and a drizzle of dressing. Jazz this up or serve with some toasted garlic bread or something! The other choice of starter, prawn cocktail seems very 1985. Didn't think restaurants still served this tired dish! The main, salmon and veggies baked in foil, I didn't enjoy. The salmon was very salty and the potatoes dry and tasteless as no sauce or dressing was served with this dish. A very boring dish. The dessert, creme brûlée was very tasty though. Wine was well priced. The pizzas looked nice too although no one in our party tried them. To sum up, if some time and energy could be spent improving and developing some of the dishes then this place would be a nice place to visit for an evening meal.
