Aiken Ice Cream

Aiken Ice Cream is hands down the best ice cream shop in the area! I absolutely adore ice cream shops that make their own ice cream from scratch, and that's exactly what Aiken Ice Cream does. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly employee who was busy making fresh waffle cones. The smell of the freshly made cones filled the air and added to the cozy atmosphere of the shop. Despite being first-time customers, the employee was able to answer all of our questions about the various flavors available. My wife opted for the Oreo ice cream, while I went with the Whiskey Road flavor. Both were delicious - the ice cream was perfectly sweet and not too rich, and the classic waffle cones were a nice touch. Additionally, they offer non-dairy options for those with dietary restrictions, which is fantastic. I only wish there was a place like Aiken Ice Cream in Augusta, but I'll definitely be making a pit stop here whenever I'm in Aiken again!

Aiken Ice Cream has the most amazing home made ice cream. If you like coffee ice cream, this place has the best I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a lot of coffee ice cream. Of course all of the ice cream is awesome. They also have a flavor, Whiskey Road, which I assume is unique to Aiken, that is pretty unique in it's self, and incredible tasting. They stay open till 9 most nights, making a great place to walk to for a light dessert after eating a meal in the Alley. If you like ice cream you have to check Aiken Ice Cream.

Delicious icecream and nice and clean. Also I learned that they are about to add a Deli sandwich bar.

Wonderful ice cream shop that recently opened in downtown Aiken. I had the Orange Cardomom and the non dairy Chocolate. Their Orange Cardomom is hands down my favorite ice cream ever from anywhere! The non dairy Chocolate is made with coconut milk, and tastes exactly like a Mounds bar; the texture was also much creamier than any other non dairy ice cream I've tried. My friend had the Oreo ice cream, and it was the most richly flavored, creamy cookies'n'cream I've tried. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because the ice cream was delicious, but it took a long time to get any whipped cream because the person serving us seemed inexperienced and ended up spraying cream liquid all over our ice cream. Additionally, there were no sprinkles available. My wife and kids were disappointed as we had been searching for a nice ice cream shop all week and settled on this place. There were only a few flavors available, even though the website indicated there were more. It could be a nice place if the person serving us (whom I believe to be the owner) knew more than just how to make ice cream.
