Betty O's - AINSWORTH HOT SPRINGS

If you're visiting or staying Ainsworth Hot Springs, Betty O's is the place to have a very good cup of coffee, tasty breakfast or funky lunch/dinner. Very creative menu. The staff are very friendly, it's clean and best of all, it's served from a reconditioned School Bus!

A delightful stop through en route between Nelson and Kaslo. Fun converted schoolbus (the seats are repurposed as patio bench seats) with breakfast fare, tacos, quesadillas, paninis... and delicious coffee! Recommended. Open daily 8:30-10pm except Tuesdays.

My husband and I live abroad and come to Canada every summer to visit our family. Last year on the way to Nelson we discovered Betty O's and since then we go out our way to have breakfast or lunch there. Erin (the owner) is a very friendly person and a great cook! We have never been disappointed, whatever we had it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this gem after a dip in the Ainsworth hot springs looking for ice cream. Was pleasantly surprised at everything offered from a converted school bus.....Ingenious!! Not only was there ice cream but also coffees, home baked goods, breakfasts, panini's etc. School bus seats were taken out and used as seats for the booths. Very reasonably priced too!

Lovely cheap food served from an old school bus, just outside the hot springs, so a cheap alternative a walk away
