Little India - Alcoutim

After three visits, we have finally got around to posting a review. I am glad we waited, however, since each visit further boosted our opinion.Papadums look a simple enough dish but, in reality, they seem to be a stern and useful test of an Indian restaurant. At Little India they are excellent: thin, crisp and not at all oily. All the following dishes were equally good. We have now been here three times, and on our last visit tried the pizza. Pizza in an Indian restaurant might sound incongruous but, in fact, it was as good as we’ve ever had anywhere.Throughout, the staff have been friendly, charming and helpful, making each visit a relaxing pleasure.We will be inviting friends to lovely Tavira at the first opportunity, and Little India will definitely be on our itinerary. Put more simply, it’s great!

Little India is a great little restaurant tucked away on a side street, so no crowds, The food was excellent and the staff is very friendly and efficient (and they speak English, which was very helpful! I will be back.

Minha esposa e eu tivemos um jantar delicioso em 2 de abril de 2024, com naan simples, peshwari naan, cordeiro rogan josh e saag paneer. A cerveja escura Sagres foi um excelente acompanhamento. Os preços eram razoáveis, a qualidade da comida e o serviço eram excelentes e os funcionários eram simpáticos e acolhedores. É altamente recomendável.

Este é um restaurante fantástico. Ótima comida e serviço incrível. Fora dos roteiros mais conhecidos, mas certamente não é uma longa caminhada. Uma das melhores comidas indianas que já comi. Ótimo valor também! Não posso recomendar o suficiente!
