Courtyard Cafe - Alnwick

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and I can imagine it has a lot of character during Halloween or Christmas. They offer both a main menu and a specials menu, each featuring different dishes. The starters were generous in size, while the mains were relatively small, so we didn’t have room for dessert. My vegan starter initially came with cheese, but once it was replaced, it was excellent. The setting is lovely and the food is good, but the service was quite slow. It felt like there wasn't a clear leader in the staff, and they seemed a bit inexperienced. If you're visiting Alnwick, it’s worth a stop, but I might not return for a second visit.

Wow! What can I say about this place? The food is incredibly delicious and of excellent quality, all set against a magical backdrop of twinkling lights. It feels like you’ve stepped right into a fairy tale. This is truly a lovely experience, perfect for a romantic dinner if you want to impress your partner!
