Pizzeria D"Alvino - Alvor

We visited this restaurant a couple of times during our stay in Alvor. Very good pasta and love their pizzas, especially Bolognese. Great staff attitude and service.

Poor service and the food wasn't was it has been over the years. The pennine was obviously bag bought wasn't good not fresh. After being told after ordering 30 minutes they don't have tagliatelle so we had pennine. When we complained they didn't want to know it was directed at the server you wet arshes grow a pair and listen to your customers

Great pizza. Was slow the last time we were there. But this time there was no problem. Service was great and there was a nice atmosphere. Hard to beat

We turned up here without a reservation and although they were busy (the terrace upstairs was full, so the restaurant is popular) they accommodated 7 of us happily. Chatted with the owner who said they had started in Alvor 17 years ago. Food was excellent and reasonably priced, we had a selection of starters followed by pizzas/pasta dishes. Next to the Sunset Bar just up from Alvor harbour.

Table booked for 8-30pm we weren't even given menus or asked if we would like a drink for 30mins then waited 45mins between starter mains restaurant wasn't full ..food was very good but service was lacking after we finished we weren't offered deserts or coffee this place came highly recommended and we were really disappointed they need to address their service attitude
