Goldenlight Cafe Cantina - Amarillo

Can't look so much, but this is a MUST stop when you're in the area. Customer service was great, the prices were reasonable, good portion sizes and amazing taste. It's easy to see how they were in business for so long. I hope to visit again soon!

My mother loves this place and when I came to town, she couldn't wait to take me so I could see myself why she always goes back! The food was not disappointed! Loved the atmosphere, the country music that filled the room from the jukebox and the great hospitality.

Great service. Hamburgers are everything a burger should be. Great pommes. Cold beer. Great story. You cannot go wrong with this Route 66 classics.

I found hidden gems specifically on my trip to Amarillo and that's it! The outside was not beautiful, but in my experience the little whole thing at the wall places are the BEST. My daughter and I both ordered to share the double cheeseburger and a big frit. We thought it was small, but no... we couldn't eat it all. It tasted good, a good size, fresh and decent price. We waited a little, but good food is not fast and fast food is not good. We saved this place!!
