Sam's Southern Eatery Amarillo

We absolutely love coming here to eat! Ivory has become our FAVORITE waitress! She's very attentive and so personable. Such a sweet person! And the food...wow, it's the best catfish and fried oysters in the area!!! They also have a specials menu with great prices, ask for it! Thanks to the whole staff there. We'll be back as often as we can.

I can't comment as to the atmosphere because I ordered online and picked up at the window.The food was excellent! Best catfish I've had in a while! One 6-piece dinner, with fries and hush puppies, can easily feed 2 people. Also added a side of onion rings okra. All great! I didn't have the burger, but 1 member of our party said it was great as well. Very affordable. Fed 3 adults for $40.

Perfect fried shrimp. Oh my goodness! The sides are too. Coleslaw and red beans and rice yum! the best. You think you’re down at the coast.
