Beginning in the parking lot at the Kurfürstenbad, a walk along the river Vils and directly into the government district and the Taverne Syrtaki. Ambiente The first tavern since 1994. From the outside, the premises inside are very large, with a space for another 30 people. In the farm there is a cozy beer garden we visited at noon. In the evening we had reserved and were assigned a table in two for 4 persons. The tables are naked and dark with a small runner, embroidered with two syrta kitchens (the motto of the tavern). The chairs and benches are covered with dark blue leather. The window benches decorate numerous single-sheet plants in plant pots. The walls are decorated with Greek pictures, the two sysrta kitchens and reliefs. Service The team has rejuvenated since our last visit. Friendly and friendly we were served. There was an ouzo on the house. As an appetizer we decided for the Peperoni (worm with Tzatzki (5,50€). Peperoni were not grilled but heated in a pan with olive oil. Then we were looking for the Sporades fish plate (15,50€) and the baby Calamari (15,50€). Previously the two additional salads came. A mixed salad with lots of onions. The fish plate was equipped with fillet, 4 shrimp and rice. Tastefully perfect. The same happened with the buttery baby Calamaris with rice, which we could already enjoy in a small form from the lunch ticket (9,50 €). The second lunch was the delicate souvlaki meal (7.50€ with rice and salad). Conclusion: In Syrtaki you can easily trust a joystick because of good food

Second time to be there ,really good lamp from oven with also very good environment and atmosphere
First time in Amberg and went on a Sunday. Lots of available parking, streets arent crowded. This tavern was right next to my parking. They open right at...
