The Brown Lantern Ale House - Anacortes

Fantastic local pub with great food, attentive servers and an impressive list of local brews and cedar. The fish tacos did not disappoint, and the CBGB chicken sandwich had great taste. Large portions, large enough to share, especially if you want apps or dessert.

I really enjoyed my Wrangler Burger! TRY IT! My wife had the pulled pig they enjoyed, but the Cole Slav (which there was plenty) was warm and had a funny after touch so that it did not eat. Our waitress was nice enough, but didn't refill my diet coke. I think we spent $41, including a $5 tip. What I think is quite pricy for pub food, but I think I would come back to try other dishes. Looks like it could be hit or miss by the reviews. I say today was a hit.

Excellent menu variety. Good beer selection. Prompt Service. I had the Cobb salad and it seasoned with goodness: solid avocados, crispy bacon, perfectly made hard cooked eggs, blue cheese, tomatoes, chicken and very fresh salad. I'd be safe to eat here again!

I had two fantastic evenings at this restaurant during my visit. They feature great live music on weekends, which adds to the atmosphere. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the bartenders, including a friendly brother duo, created a warm and enjoyable vibe. The food I tried was delicious, fresh, and of high quality. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot to grab some drinks and casual fare, this place is definitely a top choice in the area.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the food is incredible! I can't wait to return for breakfast!
