Peking Wok - Anchorage

My wife took me out to eat before the baby arrives, and wow, it was delicious! I had a Mongolian bread bowl (see picture) with a 7UP. She ordered chicken chow mein (which was fantastic). We both also enjoyed a bowl of beer-flavored soup as a side.

For 25 years, this restaurant hasn't changed much, and the food is still amazing. The waitress is kind, making every visit a pleasant experience. My favorite dish is the sweet and sour chicken!

If you live in the Jewel Lake area, Peking Wok is the place to go for Oriental cuisine. The food is delicious, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. I ordered my meal to go, and it was ready in just 5-10 minutes. The waiting area is a bit small, but the restaurant features spacious tables that can accommodate large families. Pictures of most thr menu here that was my first time there. I was glad to see that they also have a small Thai menu (not shown, and not in all menus. So ask if they don't see it.) I really had fun on pad thai. we also had egg rolls and soup. I had it and it was delicious. I had to garnish it, and it was a lot in it. That was nice. my friend had ekk foo young. the atmosphere we are amazing. su was our server. she was very friendly and knowledgeable. she answered all our questions. I enjoyed the decoration much. only a nice, friendly little business with amazing eating. go to support small a small business and enjoy yourself.

The place is small and reminiscent of a 70's styled Chinese restaurant, but the food was amazing (I had the Szechuan shrimp, hot and spicy). The sauce was, as promised, spicy and very flavorful. The accompanying fried rice was also tasty. The lunch also came with three slices of pork and an egg roll, which I doused with hot mustard (a favorite of mine). Topped off with hot tea, I was absolutely pleased by my first visit to this local favorite and the meal I was served. The wait staff was cordial and attentive. Overall, an excellent lunch.
