Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónL'Agora sits on the main square of Les Carroz. It serves traditional Savoyarde meals as well as pizza. Both were excellent. The basic cheese fondue comes with charcuterie, but instead of the meat they provided salads and a bowl of delicious potatoes to go with the fondue. There were a few interesting and different toppings on the pizza menu.Service upstairs was attentive. A jug of water and glasses arrived without asking for them. Booking, certainly on the weekend seems to be essential.
We ate twice in a week off season in march. Had to book both times, but the staff are happy and helpful. Good pizzas at about 25 euro a head including wine and deserts.
We visited L'Agora during half term week and needed to booked a table in advance. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was good and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, my husband had three different pasta dishes presented on one plate, our daughter had a pizza and I had the tartiflette. We were seated where the pizzas were being made and realised they did take away pizzas too.
This is a pizzeria, but not like you know it. They also offer local Savoyard dishes as well as fantastic salads. We ate here twice in 4 days. The Savoyard Pizza was awesome
Maybe we're just being squeamish anglos, but we were unsettled to be served raw meats, especially raw chicken, on our individual dining plates alongside the accompanying salade & frites, rather than on a separate serving dish. We'd had our share of thrill-seeking on the slopes for the day & playing campylobacter roulette added an unwanted 'frisson' to what would otherwise have been a pleasant dinner. Separate serving platters for the raw meats next time please, L'Agora!
