I ordered a Veg Thali with rice in mind, and when I saw all the vegetables I thought oh, of course, the rice has to be cooked! , and it was delicious. It had a variety of vegetables that grow above ground, such as beets, carrots, hummus, avocado, seaweed, nuts, figs, bean sprouts, lettuce, and raw black bread, made from seitan. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very chillout, minimalist, Japanese style perhaps, sitting on the floor with cushions and small tables. Good music, good lighting, pleasant temperature with the gentle breeze that runs: we are on an elevated floor, on the first floor. A menu with very extensive drink and raw food options. Good attention from the staff. Prices somewhat higher than in a conventional cafe. Good cappuccino coffee with soy milk, and coconut milk with cocoa. Vegetarian options: Everything is raw, ingredients for prana, growing on the ground. I loved the shantaram salads, the Thai noodles, the vegan raw thali, and the iced chai. The food feels nice and fresh, it's definitely good produce. The staff are the friendliest and the place is perfect for lounging around during warm days. Definitely recommend, even if you're not really into raw foods... this cafe changed my mind 100% Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is the best raw vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to. The care, dedication, and commitment is outstanding. Every dish is beautifully created and so abundant. The food is so fresh, clean, and tasty. The smoothies are thick and dense, not watered down. This is a place that really holds essence and substance, not just a trendy vegan place. We had lunch here while visiting arambol for a day and then returned to have dessert. The Thali and special salad were bountiful and delicious. The burger is very tasty, but the cauliflower pieces were a little too big and too much. I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if it had been somewhat more creamy and softer. The chocolate cake was delicious, creamy, and very well balanced in flavors. The banana-cacao smoothie was incredibly thick and very rich in flavor. We also had ginger-lemongrass tea which was made with fresh ingredients. Everything was amazing quality.
