This was once the only place I would visit for a pie! Unfortunately ownership has changed and so has the concept of service. We visited over the Australia Day long weekend as our usual spot Meraki Sole were relocating.I can see why the business has fallen off, we ordered a lemon slice and a pasty to eat in and 2 iced coffees! The food was served in paper bags because the dish washer was broken! The Iced coffee arrived in cardboard cups- warm- a shot of espresso, hot water and a scoop of ice cream! It was foul tasting and the group of people at the table next to us commented on the bad service and unusual presentation and the tact that the kids serving had no idea what they were doing. Apparently the pasty was extremely tasty but we will jot be returning to tis venue any time soon!
Excellent pies, pasties and and the rest of goodies found in bakeries. Recommend to call in for quality foods before going to beach to enjoy.
Ardrossan Bakery has been a very popular place to get lunch for many years. Fantastic fresh food cooked on premises
Dropped in for lunch on the way home for the traditional Cornish pasty and vanilla slice. Was not disappointed. Service was good and despite tables inside, I elected to sit outside under the pine trees and savour the moment. Worth a stop for some good bakery products
