Birch River Grill-an American Kitchen

How did I not know about this restaurant before this week? I 'll tell you how...I assumed it was connected to a restaurant so it must be so-so. Well times are changing and some of the best chefs are now developing menus for restaurants that are next to or in hotels. With that said, I had an amazing lunch. The Granny Smith apple French onion soup was delightful. Great authentic 'French onion flavor ' but the apple added a new zing. The broasted chicken can 't be missed. It was so nice to have a chef who understands the brining/broasting process. The skin was so crisp and it was naturally juicy. And if you have a vegetarian or vegan friend, look at the poke bowl salad. No meat at all and it was as vibrant on my tongue as it was on my plate. I loved that they didn 't have music blaring and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I can 't wait to go back and try more.

Our family hosted a luncheon there after a funeral service and I have to compliment the staff by saying how friendly and professional they were. They were absolutely wonderful and caring. The food was very good and they even made special plates for the kids. Thank you!

This place is unquestionably one of the coolest place to eat in the region. Always when I come there I am greatly pleased. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of food they give. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

This is a hidden gem. Very cozy. Great service and good food. Do not miss this place. We had an hour plus wait at Cooper Hawk. We decided to give this a try instead of waiting an hour. We were not disappointed. Again, so not pass this up.
