Estive no Restaurante Walter's várias vezes e nunca fiquei desapontado. A comida sempre foi excelente e a qualidade do serviço depende muito da época e do grau de ocupação. Embora possam parecer reservados no início, depois que você inicia uma conversa, eles nunca deixam de ser gentis e amigáveis. Dou três estrelas ao ambiente porque as mesas estão localizadas num passadiço movimentado, mas é um preço pequeno a pagar por uma boa comida a bons preços para o Algarve.

I've been at Walter's Restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The food has always been excellent and the quality of service really depends on the season and how busy they are. While they may seem reserved at first, once you start up a conversation, they have never failed to be gracious and friendly. I give the atmosphere three stars because the tables are located on a busy walkway, but it's a small price to pay for a good food at good prices for Algarve.

We’re staying in an absolutely lovely resort hotel but we yearn for a proper taste of Portugal. Amongst others, this is where we go to eat. We were advised to arrive by 7pm and put our names down for a table. We arrived at 7.10 and there were three tables left. It’s so very popular and here’s the reason why… The fish is simply grilled and served with potatoes and salad. It’s delicious. You cannot possibly ask for more. It’s also reasonable and the service is great. We had sea bass (at a fraction of the price and more delicious than our hotel’s fish offering the night before. They had sold out of sardines so I think the next time we’re lucky enough to venture to O Walter, we’ll make sure we’re there promptly at 7pm!
