Excellent eating very cheap drinks. we ordered a banquet and there were plenty of food. the service was friendly and excellent.

I recently visited this restaurant because I noticed they had a new Szechuan menu. Despite reading other reviews, I decided to try it out as I love traditional Szechuan food. However, I was very disappointed with my experience. Despite requesting the dish to be very spicy, it was actually quite mild with no hint of chili. I feel like the food lacked the authentic flavors and spice that traditional Szechuan cuisine is known for. Overall, I was unsatisfied with my meal and do not recommend this restaurant for those seeking authentic and flavorful Asian cuisine in Armidale.

I'm sorry to say, this review is not going to be very positive. After visiting Asia last holiday and experiencing authentic Chinese cuisine, my visit to Shuai Hu reminded me of Chinese restaurants that cater to Australian preferences. The food had large chunks of semi-cooked onions and cornflour in the sauces, making them jelly-like and sticky. However, I must say that the service was quick and pleasant.
