The food here was amazing and they didn't disappoint. I started with carrot leek soup and it was so yummy.. they make a good soup here.. My hubby and I had the truffle game hen. Crispy skin and the meat was juicy. Not to mention the truffle flavor was so good! I also ordered a French non-alcoholic cider that was very good. For dessert we had the fuji apple crepes with whipped marscapone. A not so sweet dessert that was just right! The service was great. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They even selected a wine pairing for our friends dessert. They were spot on.I would highly recommend this place. So good!
Love the food. Gone here for years. But they do not accept medical mask exemptions, so can no longer go here anymore.
Our sister made arrangements for us to visit because they were going to be closed during the rest of our visit. And boy am I glad that she did! The food was amazing! My sister got the curried carrot soup, which was quite good. I got the romaine salad with buttermilk dressing and shaved parmesan, which was good too. We split the truffled game hen and it was a winner. The truffled game hen went perfectly with the mashed potatoes. Our waitress was quite good too! I mentioned that I couldn't have gluten and she was very helpful because she also could not have gluten either. She also helped us select a nice bottle of wine for our meal. The dessert was great with a chocolate flourless cake, with ice cream and a chocolate lid. My sister had a crepe and was disappointed because it was warm, not hot like she would have liked. But otherwise, it was all good. I would have gone back, if we would've had the chance to do so. And we will, next time we visit Ashland.
Great staff, lovely food. Pork loin was the overall winner. Nice wine selection.
