Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe view on the Acropolis is great and the dinner at a Friday or Saturday night is amazing together with the live piano performance. In our case, the staff was really attentive, even though not all menu items were available. They could offer more gluten-free deserts. Of course you pay about 2.5x compared to a “normal” dinner, but it is a nicer experience so I think it is worth it.
Menu is okay. Prices are a bit high, but normal for a museum cafe. Lemon cake with thyme was a bit on the drier side, but Greek coffee is always a good thing, as it fixes almost everything. Outdoor sitting is obviously preferable weather permitting, but you should not spend too much time here anyway, you should be roaming the halls of the museum instead.
Good coffee and good location. But they tried to charge us 31€ for 2 lemon pies (which cost 8€ according to the menu). They didn’t even apologize claiming “it was a mistake” PS: Later, claimed they didn’t have the lemon pie in the system so they can’t give us the receipt and wanted a cash payment. After demanding the receipt the pie has magically appeared in the system (as you can see on the photo), but the coffee wasn’t there. We had paid the full price though, for both coffee and pie. This is very sad. It is a good location with the tasty quisine, but with awful dishonest staff that tries to trick both clients and their employer.
The place to go for dinner with a view. The view from the restaurant/cafe is stunning, especially at night. The food is also quite good and priced pretty reasonably.
The food is quite expensive and very average, and the portion is small. The spaghetti with minced meat and fresh tomatoes looks rather sad for 13.5 Euros. To be honest it looks more like the kind of pasta you get on a plane or school canteen. The view at the restaurant is very nice and the service is not bad and we got water refilled. Although we had to ask to get table salt and pepper.
