Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe didn't read the reviews before going and I'm glad we didn't. It would have dissuaded us from going and caused us to miss out on a wonderful and tasty meal. We had the octopus and both ordered the lamb. We had a wonderful evening. Our waiter was attentive and we never wanted for anything. We will be going again. The food was exquisite and perfectly done. And there was bread Service to whoever said there wasn't... although it needed butter and not olive oil. But that's just my preference. 11/10 would go again!
Maybe we had too high of expectations for a restaurant affiliated with Bacchanalia, which we absolutely love, and maybe we are just spoiled by the amazing food scene in Atlanta, but what a disappointment. The food was good but not great, and our waiter David was inattentive and we never saw him from the time we ordered to the time we paid the check which was delivered without even asking about our meal. This was a management fail and we won't be back. We are sensitive to the strains of running a restaurant during this challenging time but there are too many wonderful culinary options getting it right and seem to care about our experience.
This restaurant is a local place. The food is average and above average in cost. I had the salmon and vegetables, one of my dinner companions had the pizza Rosa and the other companion had the crispy pork schnitzel. The salmon well prepared, the pork schnitzel was good and the pizza Rosa was judged to be average. The beet salad with goat cheese was a shared appetizer and was quite good. It was fresh beets that were marinated in a savory mixture and served with a soft, whipped mildly flavored goat cheese. There was no bread service at all (yes, a French restaurant with no bread! . The desserts were good; I had the pound cake and my companions both had the chocolate cake, no complaints here. After dinner coffee was offered in a French press and had a good body and flavor. One dinner companion had a cocktail which she enjoyed, but I do not remember the name and my other dinner companions had a glass of white wine, which she too enjoyed. The dinner lasted two hours mainly due to slow service and long wait times between courses. The meal felt skimpy and I left a bit hungry. I doubt I will make this place a regular dining experience.
Excellent food and service! Ellie was our server. Great job! We ordered the octopus and crab so so good! I had pasta and my husband had the bass.
I fell in love with this hidden gem!!!! This little gem is hidden in the back of a court yard down a side road. Definitely wasn't expecting a restaurant to be tucked away. Who would have known they have been here for 20 years!!! As my husband and I entered, we were both blown away at the beauty of the restaurant. Very simple decor but nice. Clean lines and neutral colors. The selection on the menu would please even the pickiest eater. There is definitely something for everyone. I ordered the wood smoked octopus with pole beans. My husband ordered the Wood Oven Roasted Loup De Mer (fish) dish and salad. The dishes weren't overly complicated but the taste was amazing. Absolutely delicious
