Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLoved everything about it. Kenny is the one who got us in. He was very helpful. Although the name is unknown, that does not mean anything. The food was great. The red sauce was fantastic. The meatballs were great. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is great, good jazzy music like Sinatra, old black and white mafia movies on TVs on the wall and dimly lit, nice and relaxing. Also the view of the ocean is great too!Vegetarian options: There are.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes al on one floor there are elevators in ballys
We have gone here on and off for about two and a half years now. The first time, it was amazing! Delicious food, amazing drinks, and great atmosphere. In my opinion, it hasn't been as great as it was the first time. This time was our least favorite, and ensured we won't return. It was dead inside with barely any patrons and the overall service has gone downhill. Our waiter was very pleasant, but not what has been expected based on prior experience. We went on a Sunday and chose the Breaking Bread menu which, for $45, sounds like a steal. We had three pasta dishes and the pasta was overcooked in all three. My husband ordered a Peroni, which was warm, therefore not enjoyable. Sadly, I was horribly sick from the food and it ruined a long awaited relaxing getaway. I would no longer recommend Jerry Longo's.
Ambiance was poor, as it was one big square room, so very noisy. When I made the reservation I was asked about any special requests and I asked for a nice table...we were seated at the closest table to the entrance and next to the bar, farthest away from the windows overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. When I made the reservation I was asked if it was a special occasion so I mentioned it was an anniversary...but the waiter did not acknowledge the occasion verbally or in any other way. And we had trouble understanding our waiter because of his accent...so when I asked him to repeat what the one (1) special was he got a little upset.
My husband and I went out for date night and we were really excited to try this place. We really loved the vibe and the feel, with the old movie photos and the TVs in the wall. Music was playing and it really gave you a lounge feel, which is what we were looking for. We ordered a martini, which they say they are known for and they didn't have the ingredients to make it. We then ordered a second one from the menu and faced the same. That was pretty disappointing, but our waiter was really great. We ordered the seafood and pasta special which was $50 dollars and we got 2 shrimp and 2 scallops! Seemed a little skimpy to say the least, but it was tasty. Honestly, anywhere you go is going to give you more seafood than that for that price. Glad we tried it, but not sure we will go back.
The place usually provides better food and service. Everything was rushed, like they wanted us to eat quickly and get out. Not the best ambience for a romantic dinner on Valentine's.
